Our Apparel Development services offer a complete solution to prepare your garments for full-scale production. We utilize industry-leading apparel development software and technologies to achieve maximum operational efficiencies. Proper apparel pre-production and planning will significantly reduce your production and manufacturing costs, while ensuring top-quality output. In this phase of our process, it is important to identify each garment’s key characteristics in an effort to develop operational best practices and understand resource requirements. This will help ensure product consistency and quality.
Pattern Making
We offer digital pattern making services in (MDL and DXF file formats) as well as hand made patterns.
Sample Making
Your production samples are made in-house by highly experienced master seamstresses.
Professional Fit Test
We provide a live fit model to try on and test each garment to ensure the perfect fit and form.
Tech Packs
You will receive a professional Tech Pack, which serves as the garment’s official sewing manual.
Our apparel development begins with your fashion design and technical design flats (also referred to as the Tech Flat). Our in-house team of designers works with your company’s individual designers or design teams to help develop successful fashion and apparel collections (typically, we require a minimum of 5 unique styles for our apparel development services). Our process starts by interpreting your Tech Flats to create the garment’s patterns, determining your base size and make the first sample for your review and approval. Our apparel development services also include fit testing and revisions to meet your specific sizing and fit requirements. During this phase of our service we also offer cost engineering expertise (evaluating fabric, trim and labor costs) to help you forecast and budget production costs. Understanding your overall per unit production costs will help you develop accurate wholesale and retail pricing strategies.
At the conclusion of the Apparel development process you may select to continue working with ANH VU Fashion Center for Manufacturing services. Our development services also helps you identify and secure additional factories for larger-scale production on quantities over 50,000 units per style.
